Participants included members of the herpes research community, industry representatives, public health advocates, government agency staff, scientists, patient advocates and individuals suffering from genital herpes.  Topics covered a wide range of issues related to Genital Herpes; including treatment,  Neonatal Herpes, diagnostics, and prevention. Three advocacy groups were in attendance, including Herpes Cure Advocacy, to discuss their role in supporting patients suffering from herpes infections.
